Dr. Monissa Solberg worked fervently to become a member of the medical field. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, medical school, including extensive residency training in the greater Los Angeles area. Much of her focus was on aiding underserved populations -- from veterans at the city’s VA hospital to the young and old mentally ill who were incarcerated within the justice system.
This focus on her greater community’s mental health carried into her professional work following UCLA studies. Monissa Solberg is a board certified psychiatrist whose expertise is adolescent and community mental health. She helps with disorders (bipolar, post-traumatic stress, attention deficit, etc.), schizophrenia, anxiety and other illness issues, also providing medication management. Additionally, she shares her research and discoveries within published pieces for the medical community and academia.
